What it takes

For fifty matches.

01

Endurance & preparation

The athlete.

Sandra has spent months training directly with her health team — building not just the physical endurance the attempt demands, but the mental conditioning to stay present match after match, hour after hour.

The training mirrors the attempt itself: extended time on court, deliberate recovery work, and a pacing strategy built specifically around fifty matches, not just one.

02

Perfect timing

The operation.

  • Opponent scheduling with reserves on standby
  • Opponents commit to a roughly three-hour window and stay flexible, so the schedule can absorb real-time timing changes.
  • Independent witnesses and timekeepers rostered in overlapping shifts for the full duration.
  • Continuous video coverage and a match-by-match log that survives audit.

03

Proving it happened

The evidence.

  • Unbroken footage, scorecards and signed statements assembled as the attempt runs.
  • Officials with recognized standing to attest to each completed match.
  • An evidence pack submitted to Guinness World Records for ratification after the final point.

Projected running order

The clock does not stop.

From first serve to match fifty, the attempt runs continuously. This projection shows how the hours are expected to unfold — the final schedule will be confirmed ahead of the event.

  1. Hour 00Match 01

    First serve

Independent witnesses, timekeepers and players in position. The first match starts the official clock.

  2. Hour 07Match 08

    Banking time

The rotation is on schedule, and rest time is being stored up for when it’s needed most. Every detail documented.

  3. Hour 17Match 18

    Under the lights

Matches move under the night lights. Temperatures drop, visibility changes, and opponents show up in the middle of the night — no delays.

  4. Hour 29Match 28

    Day two

The sun is up on day two. A fresh opponent every time, and Sandra still on court, pushing every limit of the body.

  5. Hour 42Match 41

    New world record

Match 41 starts around hour 42. When its final point is played, around hour 43, the standing record of 40 is broken. Everything after this point is new territory.

  6. Hour 52Match 50

    Fifty

The final match starts around hour 52, with the final point around hour 53. The evidence pack — footage, logs, witness statements — is sealed and submitted to Guinness World Records for ratification.

Conditions

Weather

Yes, weather is a risk. Conditions are monitored continuously and rest times are planned around it. If rain comes, courts are covered with tarps and rollers stand by to get play back fast. The one hard rule: a match in progress must finish — an interrupted match doesn’t count.

Opponents

Play a match
